We’re giving two talks and receiving an award next week:

  1. Evren Sirin is giving a talk at XML In Practice 2008 on our XACML-DL Policy Management tools and HIPAA, an important set of policies for health care.
  2. I’m giving a talk in Houston, Texas–my hometown–on the utility of OWL for solving information integration and decision support problems in the Oil & Gas industry at the W3C Workshop on Semantic Web in Energy Industries; Part I: Oil & Gas
  3. Mike Grove is attending an APQC event, also in Houston, because our work on NASA’s expertise location service, POPS, is receiving a best practices award.

Good stuff; if you’re attending any of these events, please make sure to say hello.
