Slickmantic Web

by Bijan Parsia

If you’ve not been by our website lately, stroll over to check out our redesign. Kudo’s to Kendall for getting it rolled out (though, I do miss the rotating photos at the top of the blog…maybe we can get those back).

We’re not the only ones! SemWebCentral is looking quite nice. I like the green. I like the fractals. The front page is attractive and has lots of good info. Yay! Semantic Web related websites that don’t take you back to 1995!

On the other hand, I don’t know how to interpret some of the download stats on the front page. 24,055 downloads for the OWL-S editor. Really? Ooookay!

Of course downloads != users by any stretch, but still! Another 9,437 for an alternative OWL-S IDE?! Who are you people and why aren’t you posting to the semantic web services interest group mailing list?.

The photos were cool, especially since I scanned some of them from old books. Oh, well… :>
