HotPlanner
HotPlanner is an automated planning system based on the hierarchical task network (HTN) planning formalism. The planner integrates Pellet for domain and state knowledge base management, reasoning, and query answering.
Novel Features
HotPlanner enhances the features available in traditional HTN-based planner software by offering the following novel features:
- OWL-based open world reasoning using Pellet
- Constrained asset management
- Scheduling and planning for parallel task execution
- Multi-objective plan optimization
Application Integration
HotPlanner is a Java system that includes APIs designed to facilitate embedding in large, domain-specific Java-based applications. The planner can also be used as a standalone application to ease the development and testing of planning domains.
